Challenges and Growth
Our record over the years shows a steady progression of challenging assignments. Through it all, we've never encountered a project we couldn't handle. We can and do handle every aspect of electrical contracting.

From a small shop billing $50,000 in 1949, we've grown into a multi-million dollar company, conducting business in a trade area that now extends throughout North and South Dakota and Minnesota.

We have the equipment needed to tackle virtually any type of electrical job, and we have highly skilled people to operate that equipment. We have a staff of professionals whose character and talents have kept our company growing steadily over the years.

Management
Our management team includes:

GREG HOLZER, Chairman of the Board
Greg has been with Edling since 1978 and was president until 2002. He serves on the Apprenticeship and Pension Committees of the National Electrical Contractors Association, Dakotas Chapter, and is a past NECA president and governor.

RALPH HEINTZ, Vice President
Since joining the company in 1978, Ralph has been the in-charge field person for many commercial, institutional and industrial projects.

DON ROETHLER, Estimator/Project Manager/Customer Relations
Don joined Edling in 2000 and works with new construction, remodels and maintenance work. Don serves as Recording Secretary.

RICK WOHL, Estimator/Project Manager
Rick, a licensed master electrician, manages outside construction such as roadway lighting, traffic signals and airport lighting. He joined Edling in 2000 and serves as Secretary/Treasurer.

DENNIS DIEDE, President/Safety Officer
Dennis joined Edling in 1992 and is an authorized OSHA and MSHA instructor. He also manages all operations of the Service Department and all material purchases. Dennis serves on the Apprenticeship Committee of the National Electrical Contractors Association.

DENISE FEARS, Estimator/Project Manager
Denise joined Edling Electric in 1996 as an apprentice through the NJATC Apprentice and Training Program. Upon completion she worked for Edling as an IBEW journeyman. Now, as a licensed master electrician, she performs duties as an estimator and project manager for all types of commercial electrical work.

DARWIN SCHULZ, Accountant
Darwin received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Dickinson State University and has a Masters Degree in Business Management from the University of Mary. Schulz is responsible for all aspects of accounting procedures including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, job cost management, and all of the company's financial reporting.
